Job summary

Miami University seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor in Educational Psychology to teach undergraduate and graduate courses beginning Spring Semester 2027. The role supports the Inclusive Education and Graduate Special Education programs and licensure paths, with on-campus duties in Oxford, Ohio.

Qualifications

• Evidence of expertise in both general and special education.
• High-quality instruction and collaboration in higher education.
• Experience teaching online courses.
• Evidence of knowledge in Science of Reading and effective literacy instruction.
• Experience teaching in inclusive settings.
• Earned doctorate by time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Educational Psychology.
• Contribute to undergraduate IE P and graduate GSEP programs.
• Support program licensure pathways (PK-5, K-12) and TESOL endorsement.
• Present course content in-person on Oxford campus beginning January 2027.
