A public research university invites applications for a visiting assistant professor in finance starting Fall 2025. Candidates must have a Ph.D. or DBA and demonstrate effective teaching skills. The John B. and Lillian E. Neff Department of Finance at The University of Toledo invites applications for a visiting position at the assistant professor level starting in Fall 2025. A Ph.D. or DBA in finance from an AACSB-accredited institution and evidence of effective teaching are minimum job qualifications; however, ABD applicants will also be considered if it is clear the degree will be conferred by the time of appointment. Responsibilities include teaching graduate and undergraduate finance courses, including Corporate Finance, Managerial Finance, and Advanced Corporate Finance. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to teaching excellence and be able to engage students in a variety of delivery formats. This is a one-year appointment, renewable based on funding and performance for up to three years. Anticipated start date: August 18, 2025.

Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. or DBA in Finance or closely related field (ABD considered if degree is conferred by August 18, 2025).
Evidence of effective teaching at the university level.
Preferred Qualifications:
Completed Ph.D. in Finance from an AACSB-accredited institution. Demonstrated experience teaching MBA-level finance courses.
