The successful candidate will engage in undergraduate research mentoring and provide service to the Department, School, University and community. The department emphasizes excellence in teaching and research and is located on Maryland's Eastern Shore.

The successful applicant will be expected to teach introductory cellular and molecular biology courses for biology majors and contribute to the General Biology curriculum. This faculty member reports to the chair of biological sciences, Dr. Elizabeth Emmert. This faculty member does not have budgetary responsibility or authority over other SU employees.
