Qualifications

• Master's Degree is required for all faculty positions (with 18 graduate hours in the subject for undergraduate teaching).
• Subject matter expertise and outstanding communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and provides students with an approved Covista syllabus that follows local campus templates and includes terminal course objectives.
• Organizes, prepares, and regularly revises and updates all course materials.
• Uses appropriate online technologies and course-related software, including websites, email, and online discussions, to prepare the course and make it accessible to students.
• Models effective oral and written communication to engage students, provide clarity, and improve student learning.
• Sets clear course expectations by publishing terminal objectives, assignment/examination dates, and the weighting of evaluation categories.
• Ensures that exam content aligns with course terminal objectives.
• Demonstrates consistency and fairness in exam preparation and grading, and provides timely feedback to students.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
