  • Organizes, prepares, and regularly revises and updates all course materials.
  • Uses appropriate online technologies and course-related software, including websites, email, and online discussions, to prepare the course and make it accessible to students.
  • Models effective oral and written communication to engage students, provide clarity, and improve student learning.
  • Sets clear course expectations by publishing terminal objectives, assignment/examination dates, and the weighting of evaluation categories.
  • Ensures that exam content aligns with course terminal objectives.
  • Demonstrates consistency and fairness in exam preparation and grading, and provides timely feedback to students.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Job Description

Anatomy & Physiology I-IV with Lab — This is a four-course sequence studying human anatomy and physiology using a body systems approach. Coursework emphasizes interrelationships between form and function at gross and microscopic levels.

Topics include:

  • Basic anatomical and directional terminology, muscle tissues, fundamentals of cell biology, integumentary and skeletal systems
  • Fundamental concepts of muscular and nervous systems, special senses and endocrine system
  • Cardiovascular, immune and respiratory systems
  • Digestive, urinary and reproductive systems

Courses may meet once or twice per week for eight weeks. Face-to-face lab and classroom interaction is blended with technology for enhanced learning. Commitment is course-by-course.

Additional Information

Chamberlain Visiting Professor Position - Campus: In support of pay transparency laws, the expected compensation rate is between $1,120 per assignment and $7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience. Actual pay may be adjusted based on factors such as course type, experience, location, licensure, market factors, department budgets, and responsibilities.
