Rose Hills is seeking a Visitation Assistant to warmly greet families, answer calls, and assist with visitation and reception set-up. You will handle personal belongings and log them into the system while supporting event coordination for services.
The role requires a High School Diploma and at least 2 years in reception or hospitality, with strong interpersonal skills and a valid CA driver's license. This is an on-site position.

Work mostly indoors and occasionally outdoors up to 40 hours per week and as needed, in all weather conditions, assisting with coordinating and conducting funeral events for grieving families. The atmosphere can be heavy with grief and sad emotions. Incumbent must be able to work effectively in this atmosphere by not letting it affect his/her ability to provide the level of professional service that families expect. Must be able to remain positive, calm, and composed during stressful situations; and present a professional appearance at all times. Must work daily with interruptions and changing schedules; be able to work a flexible schedule, depending on business needs; work in two- to four-hour blocks of time; work occasional evenings and/or weekends and holidays.
Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions; handle emotional situations with professionalism; be able to lift, pull, push up to approximately 75lbs (caskets, human remains); must be able to work with and around human remains.
$20.00/hr - $22.50/hr Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
