National Women's Soccer League seeks a visionary Vice President, Content to lead strategy, development, and execution of league content across owned and paid platforms. You will build a fan-first ecosystem, drive engagement, and elevate the league’s brand voice through long- and short-form content, editorial planning, and strong partnerships.

Qualifikationen

• 15+ years of experience in content strategy; sports, media, or entertainment experience is a plus.
• Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing content platforms and teams.
• Deep understanding of social media platforms, creator/influencer ecosystem, digital trends, and audience development.
• Experience with SEO, GEO, and AI tools that support efficiency.
• Experience integrating brand partnerships into content while balancing commercialization and authenticity.
• Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision making.
• Exceptional storytelling instincts and editorial judgment.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Needs to be a strategic operator with a player/coach mentality.

• Define and execute a comprehensive content strategy across all platforms, owned and paid.
• Build and maintain a distinctive league voice across output.
• Align content calendar with campaigns and season priorities with Marketing.
• Develop a distribution and commercialization approach for content.
• Oversee end-to-end production of long-form, short-form, and real-time content.
• Lead editorial planning, calendars, and platform-specific strategies.
• Drive innovation in formats leveraging trends and new platforms.
• Ensure scalable production workflows across internal teams and external partners.
• Collaborate with Partnerships/Commercial teams to integrate sponsored content authentically.
• Identify and grow diverse and emerging audiences.
• Define KPIs and build dashboards to track performance.
• Lead and scale a high-performing content team.
