Job summary

Community Library Sedona (AZ) seeks an Executive Director to guide this independent nonprofit library through its next chapter of growth, innovation, and community connection. The ED will lead fundraising efforts, steward donors, and advance a multi-phase capital campaign to revitalize spaces and expand regional impact.

Qualifications

• A master's degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from an ALA-accredited institution.
• Five+ years of senior executive leadership experience in a public library or library-support organization.
• Proven fundraising, donor cultivation, and capital campaign experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic vision with the Board to advance the library's mission and growth.
• Strengthen financial sustainability and guide major gift fundraising initiatives.
• Build partnerships across the Verde Valley and with community stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative, healthy workplace culture and empower staff leadership.
