Job summary

Levy, part of Compass Group USA, seeks an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations at our Virginia location. You will set menu standards, train teams, and be the face of Levy on social media.

The role requires a passionate, experienced food and beverage leader who can mentor staff and drive performance. The ideal candidate will coach for excellence, manage costs, ensure safety and hygiene, and partner with purchasing and finance to optimize profitability while delivering an exceptional guest

Qualifications

• 5+ leadership experience in a culinary leadership position.
• Ability to taste and evaluate food and beverage products.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Understanding of financial concepts.
• Passion for hospitality, food, and retail.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in the use of social media is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively coaching and motivating team members to deliver their best.
• Identifying opportunities and driving improvements in both the food and financial performance.
• Overseeing all aspects of a safe and sanitary culinary department.
• Working closely with purchasing and finance to develop offerings that deliver financially and delight guests.
• Building and developing the on-site culinary team.
• Collaborating with regional and Home Office culinary teams to evolve the food experience for guests.
• Support efforts to drive revenue by participating in social media activities.
• Overseeing equipment maintenance routines.
• Creating and distributing team member schedules in line with revenue forecasts.
• Overseeing menu design and updates in line with trends, internal data, cost of goods, and popularity.
