This is a rare opportunity to shape the menu identity, oversee all culinary operations—Skipjack Oyster, Azul Rooftop, Banquets, and In-Room Dining—and ensure profitability and compliance with White Lodging SOPs and local guidelines. The ideal candidate brings proven executive-level experience in fine dining or hotel kitchens, exceptional leadership, and strong financial management.

Qualifications

• Proven Executive Chef or senior culinary leader in fine dining or hotel restaurants.
• Experience in seafood-focused, coastal cuisine preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and staff development abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own all culinary operations for The Westin Austin Downtown, including multiple outlets and in-room dining.
• Set culinary standards, oversee recipe execution, menu development, and profitability.
• Lead and coach kitchen team to high engagement and low turnover.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs and health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with Sales, Events, and hotel departments to ensure top-notch service.
