Job summary

Christian Adoption Services seeks an Executive Director of Adoption Services to lead the ministry with a Christ-centered focus, ensuring alignment with BCH’s mission while expanding national reach and impact.

The role requires overseeing adoption operations, fundraising with major donors, and building a strong leadership team to sustain ethical practices and excellence in service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Masters degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of executive or senior leadership experience.
• Experience leading teams of 25+ employees.
• Proven fundraising success, including major donor cultivation.
• Experience managing organizational budgets and financial performance.
• Knowledge of adoption regulations, licensing, accreditation, and best practices.
• Willingness to travel nationally and engage with diverse partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership and develop a multi-year strategic plan.
• Oversee adoption operations, ensuring excellence, compliance, and accreditation.
• Lead fundraising and donor engagement strategies with churches, foundations, and partners.
• Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing ministry leadership team.
• Represent the ministry publicly and advocate for ethical, Christ-centered adoption practices.
