Job summary

Hall County is seeking a dynamic County Administrator to lead day-to-day operations and shape the county's strategic direction. You will oversee departmental leadership, budgeting, policy development, and service delivery to residents of Hall County, GA.

The ideal candidate brings extensive public administration experience, strong financial acumen, and a collaborative leadership style to drive economic growth and community well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Business Administration, Public Administration or related field.
• Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible management experience in an organization of similar complexity.
• Experience in local government and private industry is preferred.
• ICMA Credentialed Manager designation is a positive indicator.

Responsibilities

• Serve as County Administrator responsible for day-to-day operations of Hall County government.
• Appoint Department Directors not appointed directly by Elected Officials.
• Provide leadership in budget, policy development, and strategic planning for county services.
• Foster collaboration with elected officials, constitutional officers, department heads, and community stakeholders to advance county goals.
