Job summary

Hall County in Gainesville, GA seeks a County Administrator to serve as the chief executive officer, reporting to the Board of Commissioners. The role oversees all departments, directs the annual budget process, and guides intergovernmental coordination to deliver services to residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Seven years of progressively responsible management experience.
• Experience with public financial administration and procurement.
• Ability to lead organizational changes and communicate effectively to the County Commission and public.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-range goals and plans for the County.
• Direct annual work plan and budget preparation.
• Oversee Department Directors and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate activities between elected officials, courts, sheriff, and other agencies.
• Direct preparation of resolutions and ordinances for the Board.
