The San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce is seeking its next President & CEO to lead a mission-driven, member-focused nonprofit at the heart of San Luis Obispo's economic and civic life. You will serve as the Chamber's top executive, guiding strategy, overseeing a staff of about 18, and engaging with leaders across government, business, and nonprofit sectors to advance local prosperity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 10+ years of relevant leadership experience.
• Proven ability to translate vision into strategy and action.
• Experience guiding governance and working with a board or comparable body.
• Strong organizational judgment and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as top executive and public voice for the Chamber.
• Lead staff of ~18 and oversee diverse program portfolio.
• Develop long-term strategic and annual business plans with clear metrics.
• Strengthen financial position and drive revenue through membership, sponsorships, and fundraising.
• Cultivate relationships with officials, civic leaders, and peers.
