Job summary

Community Music Center of Boston is seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer to guide strategic direction, public visibility, and operations during a period of campus expansion and program growth.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will lead fundraising, partnerships, and organizational development while maintaining CMBC's commitment to equitable access to music education and community engagement across Greater Boston.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
• Minimum five to seven years of related senior management experience.
• Experience in nonprofit, education, or arts field is highly desirable.
• Strong fundraising and development track record.

Responsibilities

• Provide organizational leadership across fundraising and development.
• Oversee financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and operations.
• Guide multi-campus expansion and capital campaign efforts.
• Develop partnerships with schools and community organizations.
• Shape strategic vision with the board and senior leadership.
