Job summary

Acceleration Academies seeks an Academy Director (School Principal) to lead a site’s instructional and operational work, aligning with our dropout-recovery mission, coaching staff, and partnering with districts and communities. This full-time, in-person role drives enrollment, program implementation, data-driven outcomes, and a positive school culture across sites.

Reporting to the Regional Vice President, you will oversee GC enrollment, GC orientation, data reviews, and progression planning to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in education preferred.
• Educational Leadership endorsement in the state preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of education experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Visionary leadership, data-driven decision-making, staff development, and stakeholder engagement.
• Passion for serving non-traditional learners and improving student outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead GC enrollment through recruitment and engagement efforts.
• Lead the implementation of GC Orientation.
• Lead Friday Fidelity Forum Meetings focused on data review and collaboration.
• Support Graduation Candidate learning pathways and progress tracking.
