Job summary

Silgan Containers in Tolleson, AZ is seeking a skilled Vision Systems Technician for the Tolleson facility. This full-time, on-site role focuses on setting up, programming, adjusting, and repairing manufacturing vision systems to keep production lines running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, completed a maintenance apprenticeship or similar experience, at least two years in a related role, and experience in a plastic injection molding environment.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Maintenance Apprenticeship Program or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar position.
• Experience in plastic injection molding environment.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, programs, adjust and repair manufacturing vision systems.
• Records data into computer system and reports issues daily.
• Ensures all vision programs match production schedule for each line.
• Works with machinery suppliers to troubleshoot major mechanical or electrical problems.
• Reports daily performance/issues on vision check form and communicates changes to oncoming technician.
• Works alongside maintenance technicians on PMs/maintenance repairs.
• On-call support.
