Job summary

Insight Global in Warren, MI seeks a Vision Systems Launch Engineer to support new vision technologies in automated manufacturing. You will integrate and validate machine vision on robotic platforms and lead launches from installation to production startup.

Requirements: 3+ years in industrial robotics and automation, hands-on machine vision (FANUC preferred), and Allen-Bradley controls. You will deploy upgrades to plants and support commissioning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in industrial robotics and automation
• Hands-on experience integrating, programming, troubleshooting machine vision systems
• Robot troubleshooting experience, preferably FANUC
• Experience with Allen-Bradley controls
• Experience supporting manufacturing launches, equipment commissioning, or production startups
• Paint experience is not necessary but would be preferable

This individual will play a key role in integrating and validating machine vision systems on robotic platforms while supporting launch execution activities from installation through production startup. The mainly responsibility will be deployment to plants to support Vision System upgrades.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of experience supporting industrial robotics and automation systems - Controls Engineer, Robotics Engineer, Vision Engineer, Automation Engineer backgroundExperience integrating, programming, troubleshooting and supporting machine vision systemsRobot troubleshooting experience - preferably with FANUC

Allen Bradley Controls experienceExperience supporting manufacturing launches, equipment commissioning, or production startups.Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.Paint experience is not necessary but would be preferable
