Job summary

Centor, Inc. is seeking a Vision Systems Specialist to install, program, maintain and optimize automated vision inspection systems across the plant. You will ensure reliable defect detection and quality verification while supporting safe, efficient production.

You will serve as the primary technical resource for machine vision, coordinating with Quality to validate performance, investigate issues, and ensure repeatable inspection results.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years industrial electrical experience or two years of related certificate study.
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
• Experience with electromechanical relay systems, solid state relays, PLCs, ladder logic, transformers and sensors.
• Ability to read prints and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork with Maintenance, Quality and Production.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize vision inspection hardware and software.
• Develop and modify vision programs and inspection recipes.
• Configure inspection parameters, tolerances and defect criteria.
• Ensure vision systems are calibrated and meet quality requirements.
• Provide training and support to maintenance and production staff.
• Document changes and maintain system backups.
