Responsibilities

  • Implement IEPs for visually impaired students.
  • Evaluate and monitor student progress using standardized and other assessments.
  • Coordinate with MDT to serve students in least restrictive environment.
  • Provide strategies for VI students, including modified materials and assistive media.
  • Develop and write Individual Educational Plans with clear goals and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records and confidentiality of student information.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff on instructional planning and assessment.
