Qualifications

• As set by State of Alabama certification authorities for Visual Impairment certification.
• Ability to Braille documents and provide necessary guidance for students with visual impairments.
• Familiarity with Braille transcription work and programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead students with visual impairments toward intellectual and physical growth.
• Maintain accurate records as required by law and board policy.
• Evaluate student progress according to established procedures.
• Travel between school sites as needed.
