Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent, required.
• Sales or retail experience preferred.
• Medical office experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in eyewear selection, explaining lens options and frame styling.
• Calculate insurance co-pays based on eligibility.
• Enter spectacle orders accurately and monitor progress for timely delivery.
• Notify patients and schedule dispensing of eyewear.
• Follow up with patients on adaptation to eyewear and contact lenses.
• Perform spectacle adjustments and repairs as needed.
• Educate patients on care of eyewear.
• Maintain inventory and displays in the optical area.
• Manage patient flow and communicate delays to other departments.
