Qualifications

• Assists patients in eyewear selection with education on lens and frame options.
• Handles insurance co-pays and eligibility checks.
• Maintains optical merchandise displays and lab order processing.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting spectacles and educate on lens/frame choices.
• Calculate insurance co-pays based on eligibility.
• Enter orders accurately and monitor delivery status daily.
• Notify patients and schedule dispensing.
• Follow up on adapting to eyewear and contacts.
• Perform spectacle adjustments and repairs when needed.
• Troubleshoot eyewear concerns and educate on care.
• Maintain inventory and displays of optical merchandise.
• Monitor patient flow and communicate delays to departments.
• Perform other duties as required by doctor/practice leadership.
