Job summary
BOS Innovations seeks a Controls & Vision Engineer to design, develop, and commission integrated automation systems combining PLC controls, robotics, and vision for industrial manufacturers. You will contribute to TrueLight projects with in-house vision expertise and mentoring.
The role covers concept through on-site commissioning, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance automation solutions.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on PLC and/or robot programming within industrial automation.
- Strong understanding of controls systems, I/O, and communications.
- Hands-on experience with system commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop PLC and HMI programs aligned with system requirements and customer specifications.
- Program and integrate industrial robots for material handling, guidance, and process automation.
- Integrate I/O, communications, and device interfaces across automation systems.
- Troubleshoot system performance, sequencing, and machine functionality during build and commissioning.
- Develop and implement safety PLC programs in accordance with applicable standards.
