Job summary

This role focuses on BOS's TrueLight projects—specialized machine vision automation, with hands-on mentoring to grow vision programming skills. Location spans Texas and Michigan; contract employment with competitive hourly pay.
Qualifications
- 2+ years hands-on PLC and/or robot programming experience in industrial automation.
- Strong understanding of controls systems, I/O, and communications.
- Hands-on experience with system commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop PLC and HMI programs aligned with system requirements and customer specifications.
- Program and integrate industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, Yaskawa) for material handling, guidance, and process automation.
- Integrate I/O, communications, and device interfaces across automation systems.
- Troubleshoot system performance, sequencing, and machine functionality during build and commissioning.
- Develop and implement safety PLC programs per applicable standards.
