Job summary

Walmart invites an Associate Optometrist to join our Vision Center team. You will deliver evidence-based eye care, prescribe medications, and support patients with clear guidance on eye health and safety.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Optometry from an accredited program.
• Licensed optometrist in good standing in the state of practice.
• Preferred PGY-1 in family practice, low vision care, pediatric or geriatric optometry.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based vision care and prescribe medications and treatments per state scope.
• Perform comprehensive eye exams and assess visual function and eye health.
• Educate patients and store staff on eye health and contact lens care.
• Coordinate care with ophthalmologists and other providers as needed.
