Walmart's Vision Center in Marion, OH is seeking an Optical Department Leader to drive sales growth, merchandising, pricing accuracy, and superior service for customers in our community.

You will supervise staff, oversee eyewear measurements and fittings under optometric supervision, ensure HIPAA compliance, manage inventory, and coordinate with labs to maintain quality and customer satisfaction. This role supports clinic operations and emphasizes teamwork and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Option 1: Completion of 2 or more years of college.
• Option 2: 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Option 3: 2 years’ general work experience, including 1 year’s optical experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent, unless state specific regulations require advanced education.
• Meets eligibility requirements to work in the Vision Center, including minimum age of 18, certification, registration, licensure.
• Active state licensure.
• Active ABO certification.

Responsabilités

• Lead optical department sales growth and ensure pricing accuracy.
• Oversee measurements, fittings, and contact lens education under supervision.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation.
• Manage inventory, supervise associates, and develop staff.
• Coordinate with labs and suppliers for orders and repairs.
