Job summary

Walmart Vision Center Beaver Falls is seeking an optician to lead department operations, ensuring accurate pricing, inventory oversight, and high service standards. You will conduct lifestyle consultations and provide guidance on eyewear options under optometric supervision.

You will measure, fit, and educate on contact lenses, coordinate with labs and suppliers, and support appointment scheduling and billing while maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of college or equivalent.
• 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience.
• 2 years general work experience including 1 year optical experience and a HS diploma/GED.
• ABO certification required. Preferred: experience with insurance processing and EHRs.

Responsibilities

• Lead optical department operations, ensuring merchandising, pricing accuracy, and inventory control.
• Oversee eyewear measurements, fittings, and contact lens education under optometric supervision.
• Coordinate with labs, suppliers, and optometrists regarding job status and product updates.
• Support appointment scheduling workflows, patient intake, and HIPAA-compliant documentation.
