Job summary

Walmart is seeking an Optician in Rolling Meadows, IL to drive Vision Center sales through effective merchandising and accurate pricing. You will supervise associates, ensure open door policy, and deliver outstanding MemberCustomer service while protecting confidentiality and complying with company policies.

You’ll train staff, manage inventory, verify prescriptions, perform minor frame repairs, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience OR 2 years' general work experience including 1 year's optical experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales in the Vision Center with effective merchandising, pricing, signing and in-stock levels.
• Lead and develop Vision Center associates and uphold customer service standards.
• Ensure compliance with policies, asset protection, and safety controls; monitor QA reviews and implement action plans.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet customer and business needs and promote a culture of belonging.
