Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an Assistant Manager to serve as a business owner in the store, supporting the Store Manager and delivering key metrics. You will supervise a team, provide training, and help ensure exceptional patient and customer experiences.

Responsibilities include monitoring KPIs, coaching staff, and performing administrative duties while maintaining a safe, compliant, and welcoming store environment. This role requires a valid opticianlicensure and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current & valid state Opticianry license.
• 1+ year(s) management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes & policies.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators.
• Must have a strong command of the English language for all written correspondence & oral communication.
• Strong communicator & listener.
• Demonstrated high-level of selling skills.
• Proven ability to problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality & improvement to meet or exceed all KPIs (e.g., comps, conversion, retention).
• Supports the store manager in diagnosing the business and driving results.
• Leads a team through training and guidance.
• Performs administrative duties and maintains a safe store environment.
• Works a flexible schedule, including nights & weekends.
• Provides eyewear expertise, digital measurements and adjustments when needed.
