Visionworks in Baton Rouge is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead to guide customers through the eyewear journey with a friendly, knowledgeable approach.

The role combines sales leadership with optical product knowledge, license compliance and hands-on coaching to meet daily targets while delivering an excellent patient experience.

This full-time position offers a competitive hourly pay and benefits as listed.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO certification in lieu.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Maintain Optician license as per state guidelines when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales by ensuring top Customer/Patient experience.
• Engage with patients to recommend products meeting eye care needs.
• Measure eyewear needs and keep knowledge through ongoing training.
• Support store operations, including opening/closing in LEAD roles.
