Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of the store, guiding customers through the Visionworks journey with knowledge of optics and services. You will drive the customer experience and ensure eyewear needs are met in a simple, human, bold way.

You will lead daily sales goals, engage with patients, recommend products, and maintain eyewear knowledge through ongoing training. This role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and excellent service delivery.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required (Visionworks or other).
• ABO Certification can replace experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through training to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support store goals including restocking, merchandising, and order fulfillment.
