Job summary

Visionworks in Minnesota is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to be the friendly face of our store. You will guide customers through the Visionworks experience, applying your optical knowledge to meet eyewear needs with warmth and clarity.

The role requires about 12 months of optical experience (or ABO certification), a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid license where applicable. You will drive sales, engage with patients, and perform essential in-store operations.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience, or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training and development.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals.
