Job summary

Visionworks in Oregon is seeking a Senior Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to greet patients, advise on eyewear, and guide them through the Visionworks experience. The Sr. OS ensures their eyewear needs are met with friendly service and product knowledge.

12 months optical experience or ABO certification required; HS diploma; state licensing as needed. This role drives daily sales goals and supports store operations.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required, or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through continuous training.
• Execute store operations to support financial and customer experience goals, including opening and closing in LEAD positions.
