Job summary

Visionworks seeks a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of the store, guiding customers through the Visionworks journey and ensuring eyewear needs are met with knowledge and care.

The role requires 12 months of optical experience or ABO certification, along with a state license where applicable, and a focus on achieving sales goals while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily sales goals by executing the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet eye care needs.
• Measure patients for eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through ongoing training.
• Execute day-to-day store operations to support sales and customer service goals, including opening/closing in LEAD roles.
