Job summary

Key Whitman Eye Center in Dallas, TX seeks a Patient Counselor to engage patients by phone and in person, guiding them from inquiry through potential consultation and procedures. You will educate patients on cataract and Lasik options, collect history and payment data, and coordinate with surgeons to determine the best vision correction path.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and at least three years in sales/relationship management, ideally in a medical environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in sales/relationship management in a medical setting is recommended.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and create a welcoming environment.
• Counsel prospective patients and educate them on vision correction options.
• Obtain patient history and payment information; discuss financing options.
• Schedule surgeries and post-operative appointments.
• Follow up on leads from marketing and prior counseled patients.
• Coordinate with surgeons to select optimal vision correction procedures.
