Job summary

Sam's Club in Springdale, AR is seeking an Optical Associate to support members with eyewear purchases, measure and adjust frames, and ensure accurate documentation and checkout. You will maintain the Optical area, stock merchandise, and assist with insurance and doctor services as needed.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work as part of a team while upholding Walmart values and standards for service and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provides Member service by acknowledging needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting Walmart products and services.
• Maintains merchandise presentation by stocking, cleaning, organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise.
• Maintains the Sales Floor in the Optical area by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
• Receives and stocks merchandise in the Optical area and completes required documentation.
• Operates cash registers and processes member purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Sells Optical products and services by assisting Members with purchasing decisions, measurements, adjustments, and repairs.
