Job summary

Visionworks has an opening for a part-time Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant to be the face of our Exam Practice. You will handle preliminary testing, explain eye care processes, and guide patients from the exam to product recommendations in a welcoming way.

Ideal candidates have customer or patient experience, HS diploma or GED, and a passion for helping customers see clearly. This role is in-store, with a focus on service, accuracy, and teamwork, with benefits and flexible

Qualifications

• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducing preliminary testing
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and provide associates necessary information to educate and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet additional patient needs
