Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a part-time Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant to be the face of our Exam Practice, guiding patients through eye health testing and the Visionworks journey with a friendly, human touch.

Responsibilities include handling patient records, introducing patients to the OD, transitioning them to the sales floor, and keeping the exam lane running smoothly with inventory and phone support.

Qualifications

• Customer or patient experience preferred, but not required.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducing preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on products and services for eye care needs.
• Execute day-to-day store operations to support exam lane maintenance and patient experience, including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones.
