The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist to perform quality control reviews of residential investor loan production.

You will contribute to the Quality Control department by:

• Performing Quality Control Reviews for loan files and identifying discrepancies
• Reviewing documents to detect and prevent fraud
• Assuring loans are in compliance with guidelines and standard operating procedures
• Managing and verifying compliance with loan conditions prior to closing
• Reviewing corporate documentation for entity borrowers
• Researching property taxes to determine appropriate escrows
• Reviewing title commitments to ensure policies meet investor and company guidelines
• Collaborating with departments across the organization to foster a streamlined process and drive quality improvement
• Providing recommendations to management on process improvement opportunities within the department and outside where applicable
• Completing projects and duties as assigned based on business needs
• Available Remote Locations: AL, AZ, FL, GA, IL, IA, IN, KS, KY, LA, MO, NC, OH, SC, TX, UT, WI
• Salary Range: $21.00 - $22.50/hr. (Non-Exempt/Hourly/Eligible for Overtime)

What We Are Looking For:

• 2 years of experience working in a mortgage or title environment, preferably as an Underwriter or Escrow Agent
• A High School Diploma and/or GED Equivalent
• A motivated self-starter with an organized, disciplined, and service-oriented attitude
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, and Excel
• Attention to detail & accuracy
• Ability to handle a pipeline and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive and capable of working independently
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• For Internal Applicants: 6 months of Visio Lending work experience with no disciplinary actions within the last 3 months. Current Manager notification is needed to apply for a vacant position.
