Title: Loan Originations System Configuration Analyst – Automotive Lending

Remote /Temp-to-Perm

This remote role offers the opportunity to become an expert on the system configurations within the client’s loan origination system by applying your understanding of the automotive lending workflow and technical interest in driving to operational excellence. While remote, applicants should live within a commutable distance to Detroit, Atlanta, Houston, or Dallas – there will be occasional in-person meetings and team events.

Position Overview

The Loan Originations Configuration Manager ensures the stability, integrity, and continued improvement in the operation of the company's loan originations system (LOS), Defi. This role involves configuring business rules, processes and policies, supporting system users, adding interfaces from time to time, and managing issue resolution to enhance overall performance and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• System Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the originations system, leveraging configurable features to create, optimize, and support workflows, partner integrations, credit and pricing policies, and communication processes.
• Solution Development: Collaborate with internal teams to address business challenges by implementing effective solutions within the originations system.
• Documentation: Maintain documentation for configured business processes, system workflows, and policy requirements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments and external partners to design, maintain, and support system integrations.
• Project Support: Contribute to projects involving system upgrades or the implementation of new business processes and policies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the domestic indirect automotive lending industry in either a business or technical role.
• Ability to create and maintain workflow and rules. Ability to define interface APIs from a business perspective working with technical teams on the full round trip.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Experience with SQL queries and XML.
• Familiarity with Visio, Confluence or similar process mapping tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
