Job summary

The University of Pittsburgh Learning Research and Development Center (LRDC) seeks a Research & Evaluation Specialist I to support a longitudinal study examining how family socioeconomic factors relate to youth health. The role includes coordinating virtual data collection, contacting families, scheduling visits, and obtaining consent for parents and youths.

Responsibilities involve administering physiological assessments, conducting health interviews, and ensuring data accuracy within 8:30-5:00

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field.
• At least 1 year research experience in developmental or biological-health psychology.
• Experience with adolescents aged 16-19 years old.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, internet).
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Contact participants for data clarifications and survey reminders.
• Schedule study visits and consent/enroll parents and youth.
• Administer physiological assessments and conduct health interviews.
• Coordinate virtual data collection and data management.
• Occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
