Job summary

ConvenientMD is seeking experienced Advanced Practice Providers to join our Virtual Urgent Care team serving New England. You’ll evaluate and treat patients with acute concerns through telemedicine, determine when in-person or higher-level care is needed, and deliver clear education and safe, evidence-based plans.

Licensure in NH, MA, or ME is preferred. Full-time, part-time, and per diem roles are available to in‑market candidates, with hybrid options in Bangor, ME as well.

Qualifications

• Clinical experience in urgent care or high-volume acute care is strongly preferred.
• Strong foundation in acute-care evaluation, differential diagnosis, and clinical decision-making.
• Ability to recognize red flags and escalate care appropriately.
• Experience with evidence-based prescribing and antimicrobial stewardship.
• Patient education, safety-netting, and clear clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients via telemedicine across a broad range of acute illnesses.
• Develop treatment plans using focused history-taking and virtual assessment.
• Direct patients to in-person or higher-level care when needed.
• Provide patient education on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation.
• Collaborate with clinic-based teams to balance demand.
• Stay current with telemedicine practices, prescribing, privacy, and regulations.
• Contribute to a collaborative clinical culture and ongoing learning.
