Job summary

Covenant House New Jersey seeks an Employee Trainer & HR Support Staff to plan, deliver, and facilitate training programs via virtual and on-site platforms. The role ensures trainee progress, provides guidance, and supports essential agency certifications and regulatory training.

In addition, you will support HR recordkeeping, maintain compliance documentation, and assist with onboarding and personnel records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Three to five years training related experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communications and presentations skills required.
• Flexible and self-directed teacher with excellent time management skills.
• Strong ability to partner with staff and volunteers throughout the Covenant House organization.
• Valid NJ driver's license with an insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and facilitate organized training programs via virtual and on-site platforms.
• Monitor trainee progress and provide guidance to achieve learning outcomes.
• Develop and revise training materials and schedules.
• Administer assessments and evaluate trainee performance.
• Maintain accurate records for training and compliance requirements.
• Provide HR administrative support and assist with onboarding and records.
