Job summary

ACCEL Schools LLC is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide virtual therapy for students in grades K-11 in Texas. The role requires collaboration with teachers, parents, and district staff, with occasional travel for state testing and events.

The position emphasizes data-driven, family-centered treatment plans, adherence to IEP/ETR guidelines, and ongoing professional development to maintain state licensure and address caseload needs.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensure in appropriate area.
• Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office Suite, Google applications, e-mail, and internet applications; excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong content knowledge in one or more content areas

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality virtual speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-11.
• Conduct assessments, analyze results, and write reports on speech, language, voice, and related areas
• Develop strength-based, child and family-centered treatment plans
• Ensure IEP/ETR compliance and progress monitoring per guidelines
• Attend IEP and ETR meetings and provide documentation for review
• Collaborate with teachers and educational team members
• Act as case manager for students with Speech-Language disabilities
• Guide staff in implementing classroom strategies for skill generalization
• Develop daily schedules and coordinate with building leaders
• Conduct hearing screenings and refer as needed
• Pursue professional development for licensure and caseload needs
