Job Description

As a Virtual School Social Worker with The Menta Group, you will provide direct educational and social services to students, collaborating with parents, educators, and other professionals to create supportive academic and social environments for all students.

*Hiring for the 25/26 School Year*

Schedule: 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mon-Fri, following a 10-month school calendar

Employment Type: Direct-Hire, On-going employment

Required Licenses/Certifications: Certified School Social Worker (IL PEL Certificate), Certified School Counselor (IL PEL Certificate), MSW with LSW, LCSW, LCPC, LPC

Responsibilities:

1. Employ data-based decision-making regarding multidisciplinary collaboration, functional behavior assessments, and behavioral approaches.
2. Build leadership to effectively help students succeed.
3. Develop positive behavioral and academic interventions.
4. Monitor and report student progress; complete evaluations and program assessments; consult with educational staff, parents, and other professionals.
5. Some local travel to other Menta locations may be necessary.

Qualifications:

1. One of the required Licenses/Certifications listed above.
2. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
3. Strong consultative and data analysis abilities.
4. Creative thinker capable of developing diverse interventions for a varied student population.
5. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
6. Excellent communication skills.
