Job summary

Framework is actively seeking certified Secondary Math Tutors for daytime availability to deliver high-quality virtual tutoring to diverse high school students in Algebra 1 and related topics. Tutors work 1:1 or in small groups using provided curriculum on a secure online platform, with sessions ranging from 15 to 60 minutes.

Position is part-time (W-2) with no guaranteed minimum hours, remote within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Current, valid U.S. teaching license in Secondary Math (expired licenses not accepted).
• Spanish speaking/bilingual a plus.
• Available Tuesdays and Thursdays, weekly from 9:00am-3:00pm PM EST.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live, virtual tutoring to students in 1:1 and small group settings.
• Create a safe, fun, and interactive virtual classroom.
• Use provided curriculum to engage students in interactive, goal-focused learning.
• Adapt instruction to meet each student’s needs.
• Administer provided assessments as scheduled.
• Maintain professional communication with the Framework Tutor Operations Team.

Framework is now hiring certified Secondary Math Tutors with Daytime availability!

Framework is seeking certified, experienced, and creative educators to provide engaging, high-quality virtual tutoring to a diverse group of high school students covering various math subjects.

Tutors will work with small groups or one-on-one, delivering instruction using provided curriculum and interactive slide decks. Sessions range from 15 minute to 60 minute sessions on a safe and secure online platform.

Position Details

• Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, weekly from 9:00am-3:00pm PM EST
• Focus: Grade 9 - Algebra 1
• Employment Type: W-2, part-time (no guaranteed minimum hours)
• Pay: $30/hour for tutoring, $20/hour for admin/prep time
• Location: Remote - must reside and work in the U.S.
• Who: A legal U.S. resident who is certified in Secondary Math (Grades 9 and above)

Requirements

• Current, valid U.S. teaching license in Secondary Math (expired licenses not accepted)

• Additional SpEd or ESL Certification a plus
• Available Tuesdays and Thursdays, weekly from 9:0am-3:00pm PM EST
• Reliable computer with mic and camera, stable internet, and quiet workspace
• Ability to pass a federal background check (may include fingerprinting)
• Comfort using online teaching tools and platforms
• Prior online tutoring experience preferred
