Job summary

Framework is hiring certified Secondary Math Tutors to provide engaging, high-quality virtual tutoring to high school students using the provided curriculum on a secure online platform.

This part-time W-2 role offers tutoring at $30/hour (admin/prep time at $20/hour). Schedule is Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00am–3:00pm EST, with remote work within the United States and a focus on Grade 9 Algebra 1.

Qualifications

• Current, valid U.S. teaching license in Secondary Math (expired licenses not accepted).
• Spanish Speaking/Bilingual a plus.
• Additional SpEd or ESL Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live, virtual tutoring to students in 1:1 and small group settings.
• Create a safe, fun, and interactive virtual classroom.
• Use provided curriculum to engage students in interactive, goal-focused learning.
• Adapt instruction to meet each student’s needs.
• Administer provided assessments as scheduled.
• Maintain professional communication with the Framework Tutor Operations Team.

Job description

Framework is now hiring certified Secondary Math Tutors with Daytime availability!

Framework is seeking certified, experienced, and creative educators to provide engaging, high-quality virtual tutoring to a diverse group of high school students covering various math subjects.

Tutors will work with small groups or one-on-one, delivering instruction using provided curriculum and interactive slide decks. Sessions range from 15 minute to 60 minute sessions on a safe and secure online platform.

Position Details

• Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, weekly from 9:00am-3:00pm PM EST
• Focus: Grade 9 - Algebra 1
  
• Employment Type: W-2, part-time (no guaranteed minimum hours)
• Pay: $30/hour for tutoring, $20/hour for admin/prep time
• Location: Remote - must reside and work in the U.S.
• Who: A legal U.S. resident who is certified in Secondary Math (Grades 9 and above)

Requirements

• Reliable computer with mic and camera, stable internet, and quiet workspace
• Ability to pass a federal background check (may include fingerprinting)
• Comfort using online teaching tools and platforms
• Prior online tutoring experience preferred
