Job summary

Framework is a remote tutoring company hiring certified Elementary Tutors for math and ELA. You’ll conduct 15–60 minute sessions with students via a secure online platform, primarily in the evenings in US time zones.

Role involves working 1:1 or in small groups, using provided curricula with no lesson planning required, and collaborating with a Tutor Operations team for scheduling and feedback.

Qualifications

• Current, valid U.S. teaching license in General Education, Math, or ELA (expired licenses not accepted).
• SpEd or ESL certification a plus.
• Available Monday - Friday, 6:00-10:00 PM EST (all five days required).
• Reliable computer with mic and camera, stable internet, quiet workspace.
• Ability to pass a federal background check (fingerprinting may be required).
• Comfort using online teaching tools and platforms.
• Prior online tutoring experience preferred.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live, virtual tutoring to students in 1:1 and small group settings.
• Create a safe, fun, and interactive virtual classroom.
• Use provided curriculum to engage students in interactive, goal-focused learning.
• Adapt instruction to meet each student’s needs.
• Administer provided assessments as scheduled.
• Maintain professional communication with the Framework Tutor Operations Team.

Framework is now hiring Certified Elementary Tutors!

Framework is seeking certified, experienced, and creative educators to provide engaging, high-quality virtual tutoring to a diverse group of elementary, middle, or high school students covering various math and ELA subjects.

Tutors will work with small groups or one-on-one, delivering instruction using provided curriculum and interactive slide decks. Sessions range from 15 minute to 60 minute sessions on a safe and secure online platform.

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, weekly from 6:00-10:00 PM EST (all 5 days required)


• Focus: K-5 Math and ELA


• Employment Type: W-2, part-time (no guaranteed minimum hours)


• Pay: $30/hour for tutoring, $20/hour for admin/prep time


• Location: Remote - must reside and work in the U.S.


• Who: A legal U.S. resident who is certified in General Education, Math, or ELA
