One Medical is seeking a Physician Assistant for the Virtual Medical Team to provide high-quality telehealth care 24/7. This seasonal W-2 role runs August through February 2027 with a 40-hour workweek and rotating Saturday/Sunday shifts.

Licensed in NY with ability to work in additional states is required. The role emphasizes collaboration with both virtual and in-office teammates, adherence to clinical protocols, and delivering patient-centered care through video visits, calls, and email

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in an accredited Physician Assistant program (MSPAS) and active NCCPA certification.
• Currently licensed in NY with possibility to obtain additional states.
• At least 2 years as an Advanced Practitioner in outpatient primary care or urgent care.
• Ability to work afternoons and evenings (7am-6pm EST or 11-10pm EST).

Responsibilities

• Treat patients via tele-health visits including video visits, calls, and emails.
• Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other learning modalities.
• Collaborate with virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles.

The Opportunity:

The One Medical Virtual Medical Team (VMT) is a leading provider of virtual clinical care, providing world‑class, convenient, evidence‑based virtual medical care to One Medical patients in concert with their primary care providers. Through advanced technology and a team‑based approach, we care for patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Employment type:

• Seasonal Employee from August - February 2027
• W2 position
• 40 hours minimum weekly
• 2 full (entire) rotating A/B weekends per month (weekends includes Saturday and Sunday)
• Support 2 of 4 company observed holidays (Thanksgiving, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day)

What you’ll be working on:

• Treating patients via tele-health visits, including telephonic triage calls, video visit appointments, and email follow-ups
• Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
• Ongoing collaboration with both virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles
• Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to give exceptional care to patients virtually

Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:

• Completion of master’s degree in an accredited Physician Assistant program (MSPAS) and is maintaining active NCCPA certification
• Currently licensed in NY with possibility to obtain additional states
• In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least:
  • 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), OR 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
• Ability to work afternoons and evenings (Current shifts are 7am-6pm EST or 11-10pm EST)
• Excellent clinical and communication skills with the ability to follow established clinical protocols and workflows
• Anexample schedule for this role are alternating weeks:
  • Week A:
    • Monday: 7a-6pm Eastern (1 hour break)
    • Tuesday: 7a-6pm Eastern (1 hour break)
    • Thursday: 7a-6pm Eastern (1 hour break)
    • Friday: 7a-6pm Eastern (1 hour break)
  • Week B:
    • Monday: 7a-6pm Eastern (1hour break)
    • Tuesday: 7a-6pm Eastern (1hour break)
    • Saturday: 7a-6pm Eastern (1hour break)
    • Sunday: 7a-6pm Eastern (1hour break)

This is a non-benefited virtual role.

Compensation for this position is $80/hr.
